CAIRNGORM MOUNTAIN SNOWBOARD LESSONS

Cairngorm Mountain is situated just up the road from Aviemore in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. They offer year round activities from skiing and snowboarding in the winter to tubing and guided walks in the summer months. With the funicular railway coming back in to action this season after a break for repairs, Cairngorm Mountain offers some great terrain for everyone from beginners to more experienced riders. Their park set up builds throughout the season with large jumps, rails and even a halfpipe in past seasons. A great place for freestyle snowboard lessons.

THE LECHT 2090 SNOWBOARD LESSONS

The Lecht 2090 ski area is 2090 feet above seea level and located in the eastern Cairngorms between Tomintoul and Strathdon. It's the smallest ski area in Scotland but in our opinion one of the best. The snowsports area is served by a number of chairlifts, surface tows and travelators which are great for learning to snowboard. The ski runs are a mix of greens around the travelators and blues, reds and one black for more advanced riders. For freestyle they have a couple of fun parks to choose from with a number of features including kickers and rails to learn freestyle snowboarding.
